The Gladsax sofa is upholstered in recycled fabric from decommissioned buses in public transit, used on all wear surfaces, with a matching backing fabric in recycled polyester. The well-known patterned fabrics get a second life as a sturdy, colorful 3-seat sofa bed. The frame is made of wood, reinforced with hardboard and fiber padding, and the cushions are made from recycled textile material with soft foam and fiber padding. A classic pull-out bed function makes the sofa both an everyday sofa and a guest bed.
