A handcrafted quality futon mattress from Germany. All Futonwerk futon mattresses are handmade in their factory in Germany. The futon mattress is available in a size of your choice.
All parts of the manufacturing process has a focus on environmental sustainability and the cotton used in the mattress is organic. All Futonwerk mattresses are available in organic fabric.
Material composition and structure
The mattress is approx. 13-14 cm tal. The mattress is filled with organic wool and organic cotton on each side of a 5 cm tall natural latex core that is soft and adaptable.
This mattress has two layers of cotton which makes the mattress slightly more stiff and more suited for people who prefer a firmer mattress.
Read moreThe mattress is also available in a completely vegan variant where the wool is replaced with hemp (slightly firmer) and the horsehair is replaced with coconut fibres.
You can choose between having a visible zipper or a sewn edge around the mattress. There is also an option to have handles sewn on the side of the mattress.
