A handcrafted quality futon mattress from Germany. All Futonwerk futon mattresses are handmade in their factory in Germany. The futon mattress is available in a size of your choice.
All parts of the manufacturing process has a focus on environmental sustainability and the cotton used in the mattress is organic. All Futonwerk mattresses are available in organic fabric.
Material composition and structure
The mattress is approx. 18 cm tall and is made of two layers, one with organic wool and one with organic cotton on each side of a layer with natural latex. The middle has two coconut fibre layers or optionally horsehair instead.
This mattress is soft for a futon mattress. If you prefer a more firm mattress we recommend other Futonwerks models for example DW 4.0.

The mattress is also available in a completely vegan variant where the wool is replaced with hemp (slightly firmer) and the horsehair is replaced with coconut fibres.
You can choose between having a visible zipper or a sewn edge around the mattress. There is also an option to have handles sewn on the side of the mattress.
